ACPP - Images from the ACPP Archives (Gallery A+B)
In 2011 I recieved a considerable grant from PriceWaterhouse Coopers to develop an archive of photographic works to be utilised in public education programs. This project saw the development of a culturally significant archive known as the ‘Australian Centre for Portrait Photography’ (ACPP) tied to the photographic journal Australian Portrait Quarterly (APQ). This exhibition showcases some of the fantastic photographic works donated to the archive since its initial funding. This exhibition will be hung in the H.R. Gallop Gallery this week and will be open to public from Monday 16th of April. This coincides with the launch of book three in the APQ series!
MultiStory Project – Celebrating Diversity through Creativity (Gallery C)
The Multistory project is an innovative project that seeks to use arts and cultural activity as a means of promoting inter-community harmony… Multiple People, multiple cultures, multiple voices, multiple stories. This exhibition has work by Wagga Wagga photographer Shona Pratt and the exhibition itself is co-curated with Eastern Riverina Arts staff member Scott Howie. This exhibition will have an opening on Monday the 16th of April at 1pm by Minister for Multicultural Affairs Senator Kate Lundy.
