This mixed-media exhibition explored creative-practice as a process of Decolonisation and Reinhabitation. The installation project juxtaposed found objects, garden supplies, new media works and photographs towards a personal and critical bioregional understanding of ‘living well’ within place. A personal dialogue of the artist investigating his own childhood, and imagining alternate childhoods was undertaken through layering over topographical maps and drawing (literal) threads between ideas and locations.

The exhibition contributes to a growing field of literature around place-based education and the role it might play in learning how to live-well in the Anthropocene.
